my name is David Arnold,
Bighorn Custom Woodworks. My home and shop are
located just outside Belgrade, Montana. From the Rocky Mountains of Montana I
hand select each piece of wood that was so carefully sculpted by "God" and
"Mother Nature", and combine them into the forms you see here.

America's old barns are disappearing at an alarming rate. These beautiful old structures have played an important role in the development of our nation, and are worthy of our respect and acknowledgement.
We at Montana Originals are proud to play a part in preserving these wonderful old buildings by helping them to live on in other useful forms. Every piece is constructed of authentic old barnwood.....many of them over 100 years old. Many pieces will include the history of the barns and their builders, if known.

and rustic furniture styles. Rustic furniture and log furniture that is
unique. Influenced and inspired by the works of George Nakashima, our custom
woodwork uses wide, exotic, figured, curly, burly, one-of-a-kind slabs of
cherry, walnut, and maple. We specialize in an array of fine custom and rustic
furniture. Recycled woods, reclaimed wood and green sustainable woods are used
whenever possible.
